Burak started as a researcher between 2014 and 2018 and then worked as a senior researcher between 2018 and 2021 in TUBITAK MAM Energy Institute.
Now, he is working as an executive power system expert at MRC Turkey. He has been working a lot of studies in the field of power system.
His focus areas are;
- Conducting power system modeling and analysis for Master Network Development Plan
- Carrying out R&D studies associated with EMS
- Performing protection analysis for the relay coordination
He also has conducting as a researcher to a ubiquitous web-based dispatcher information system for effective monitoring and analysis of the Electricity Transmission Grid (YTBS).
Subsequently he was as project coordinator assistant in a project, which is a web-based protection relay information system for realistic modeling and analysis of the protection system of Turkey's electricity grid.
Burak holds a BSc and MSc degree both in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Middle East Technical University.
He studied “Very Short Term Load Forecasting Aided Hybrid State Estimator With Optimally Placed Pseudo-Measaurements” in his thesis study.
