Celal Öztop is a Ph.D. candidate from Middle East Technical University, working about “The effects of supply and demand unbalance on the competitive electricity market”. He completed his MSc and BSc degrees in Middle East Technical University, Electrical and Electronics Engineering department. The MSc. Thesis subject was “Beforehand obtaining a safety operation condition by using daily load curves in transient stability and graphical software for transient stability applications.”
He has experience on selection, installation, testing and commissioning of equipment for renewable power plants, hydroelectric power plant design and selection of electromechanical equipment. He also worked with thermal power plants and smart grid operations.
