Yiğit Erden has been working as Business Development Team Leader at MRC Türkiye since 2022. He holds Bachelor of Arts and Master’s degree and PhD in Political Science and Public Administration obtained from Bilkent University.
He has experience in research, preparation of project proposals for IFI-funded tenders in many areas such as: power & energy sector, energy efficiency, democratization, civil society, consumer protection, autonomous vehicles, human rights, occupational safety and health, standardization, accreditation and market surveillance, vocational education, employability, social and youth inclusion, economic diversification, intellectual property rights, social development, environment and water; and being responsible for consortium set-up and recruitment of experts for the required positions for projects. He has also worked as non-key experts in EU-funded projects.
His works at MRC Türkiye encompass several tasks including but not limited to business development, managing consortiums set-up processes, coordinating proposal preparation processes for IFI-funded projects in energy sector; leading the preparation of proposals for the IFI tenders; conducting additional activities to expand company’s visibility and relations with other partners and establish partnership for opportunities; as well as leading all recruitment processes for projects.
