The objective of the assignment is to undertake a preliminary market assessment of a large scale solar PV program in Turkey focusing on three markets:
- Public buildings (including central and municipal);
- Residential buildings (high-rise multifamily and single family); and
- Commercial buildings (including factories and SMEs).
This assessment will help inform the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources (MENR), EMRA, TEIAS and TEDAS and government policy with respect to rooftop solar PV development regulations and supporting programs, as well as potential World Bank financing schemes to help unlock commercial financing in this sector.
