Gökan Orhon joined MRC Turkey in 2025, bringing 13 years of experience in SCADA/EMS and automation systems. A graduate of Yıldız Technical University in Electronics and Communication Engineering, he began his career in the design and commissioning of SCADA systems. He then spent 10 years as the SCADA and Automation Systems Manager at GDZ Electric Distribution Company, where he developed in-depth expertise in SCADA, DMS, and OMS systems, as well as their integrations and electrical distribution networks. Prior to this, he contributed to several Siemens projects over 3 years, working on major infrastructure, industrial, and international projects. Orhon also specializes in RTU programming, IED parameterization, communication protocols, substation automation, and distribution networks, and has published academic research on SCADA principles.
